Henry O.⁸ Whitney (Hollis B.⁷, Isaac ⁶, Isaac⁵, Lemuel⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Hollis B.⁷ and Elsina A. (Towle) Whitney, was born 12 Nov 1845, Canaan, NH, and died 13 Dec 1910, Canaan, NH.^[1]

He married firstly, 8 Jul 1871, Alton, NH, Susan E. Ames,^[2] daughter of Thompson and Naomi (Flanders) Ames.^[3] She was born 20 Sep 1846, Gilford, NH, and died 15 Aug 1888, Canaan, NH.^[4]

He possibly married secondly, 1 Dec 1900, Canaan, NH, Isabelle Moulton,^[5] but no additional records supporting this union have been found.
