Lewis Watson Whitney (Benjamin, Samuel Kellogg, Benjamin), son of Benjamin and Abigail (Fancher) Whitney, was born 22 Aug 1814, CT, Wilton, CT, and died after 1900, Greenwich, CT.
He married firstly, before 1841, Angeline -----. She was born about 1813, CT, and died 17 May 1879, Greenwich, CT.
He married secondly, 18 Jan 1883, New York, NY, Anna Humphreys, daughter of Robert and Mary A. (C...is) Humphreys. She was born about 1837, and died 14 Jun 1894, aged 57 years, Greenwich, CT.
All three are buried in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
Children of Lewis and Angeline (-----) Whitney:
i. Orin Whitney, b. ca. 1841, CT. ii. Sarah Matilda Whitney, b. ca. 1845, CT; m. before 1863, Alpheus Charles Owens. iii. Mary L. Whitney, b. ca. 1847, CT.
