Myron F. Whitney, (William, Benjamin, Samuel Kellogg, Benjamin), son of William and Hannah Metcalf (St. John) Whitney, was born 9 Feb 1840, [prob. Sharon,] CT, and died 11 May 1900, Sharon, CT. He was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Sharon, CT.[1]

He married firstly, 14 Nov 1864, Sharon, CT, Mary J. Lucas, both "of Sharon".[2] She was born about 1841, CT, and died 20 Sep 1868, Sharon, CT, aged 27 years. She was buried in Ellsworth Burying Ground, Sharon, CT.[3]
