George Henry9 Whitney (Harrison Otis8, William7, Peter6, Aaron5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Harrison Otis8 and Ann E. (Marsh) Whitney, was born 30 Jan 1852, Quincy, MA,[1] and died 14 Mar 1877, Haverhill, MA, aged 25 years 1 month 15 days, of consumption.[2]
He married, 8 Jun 1876, Haverhill, MA, Ida Emma Lake, daughter of Leverett G. and Elizabeth C. (-----) Lake.{{ref|3} She was born 19 Oct 1852, Lynn, MA. She married secondly, 19 Oct 1886, Haverhill, MA, Charles K. Fox, b. ca. 1871, Roxbury, ME, son of Charles and Catherine (-----) Fox.[3]
George Henry Whitney, born in Quincy, removed to Haverhill when about ten years old.
