Edmund Barton⁹ Whitney (Edmund⁸, Otis⁷, Aaron⁶, Nathan⁵, Nathan⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Edmund⁸ and Esther (Flagg) Whitney, was born 19 Jun 1848, Williston, VT, and died 12 Jun 1920, VT. He was buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Burlington, VT.^[1]

He married, 6 Oct 1874, Colchester, VT, Julietta C. Hood, of Winooski, VT, daughter of Albert O. and Betsey M. (Craig) Hood.^[2] She was born about 1853, VT, and died 5 Apr 1912, Colchester, VT. She was buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Burlington, VT.^[3]

He is a retired glove manufacturer; resided Gloversville, NY; s. p.
