Abraham4 Whitney (Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Moses3 and Sarah (Knight) Whitney, was born 29 May 1692, Stow, MA (calculated from age at death, but not found in vital records),[1] and died 15 Sep 1778 Stow, MA, aged 86 years 3 months 17 days.[2]

He married firstly, before 1715, Stow, MA, Mary Stone, daughter of Simon and Sarah (Farnsworth) Stone. She was born circa 1689 (calculated from age at death), and died 7 Oct 1766, Stow, MA, in 78th year.

He married secondly, 16 Jul 1767, Stow, MA, Elizabeth (Farley) Shed "of Harvard", daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth (Shed) Farley. She was born 28 Mar 1704, Billerica, MA, and died after 2 Oct 1778. She had married firstly, 6 Sep 1724, Billerica, MA, John Shed.

Children of Abraham4 and Mary (Stone) Whitney, all born Stow, MA:

i. Jemima5 Whitney, b. 14 Oct 1715; d. before May 1768.
ii. Keziah Whitney, b. 8 Oct 1716; m. ----- Hale.
iii. Ephraim Whitney, b. 6 Apr 1723; d. before May 1768. He was not mentioned in his father's will of May 1768, so is assumed to be dead by that time, without issue.
iv. Dea. Abraham Whitney, b. 31 Jul 1724; m. Marcy Perry.
v. Isaac Whitney, b. 24 Jan 1726; d. 21 Aug 1746, Stow, MA.
i. Mary Whitney, b. 28 Oct 1729; m. Silas Jewell.

There were no children of Abraham4 and Elizabeth (Farley) Whitney.
