Abijah6 Whitney (Nathan5, Nathan4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Nathan5 and Tabitha (Bennett) Whitney, was born 8 May 1768, Harvard, MA, and died after 1800.
He married, 28 Oct 1788, Conway, MA, Jane Murphy, "both of Conway".
Children of Abijah6 and Jane (Murphy) Whitney, all born Conway, MA:
i. (child) Whitney, b. 1 Mar 1789; d. 1 Mar 1789, Conway, MA, aged 12 hours. ii. Tabitha Whitney, b. 11 Jul 1790; d. -- --- 1795, Conway, MA, aged 5 years, of dysentery. iii. Esther Whitney, b. 4 Oct 1792; d. -- --- 1795, Conway, MA, of dysentery. iv. Joel Whitney, b. 14 Jun 1795; apparently d. before 1800. iv. (daughter) Whitney, b. before 1800. iv.
