Ephraim5 Whitney (Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Moses4 and Lydia (Taylor) Whitney, was born 1 Mar 1723/4, Littleton, MA,[1] and (as "Lieut.") died 2 Oct 1796, Chesterfield, NH, aged 72 years.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 27 Dec 1745, Lunenburg, MA, for him and Jane Bancroft.[3] He married, 16 Jan 1745/6, Lunenburg, MA, Jane Bancroft,[4] daughter of John and Mary (Clark) Bancroft. She was born 8 Jul 1722, Lynn, MA.
He was also known as Lt. Ephraim Whitney. He signed a petition on 31 Dec 1746, Lunenburg, MA. He lived 1776, Chesterfield, NH.
