Family:Whitney, Samuel (1774-1846)

Samuel⁷ Whitney (Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Samuel⁶ and Phebe (Harrington) Whitney, was born 18 Apr 1774, Marlboro, VT, and died Feb 1846, Kirtland, OH.

He married, 7 Apr 1792, Susanna Kimball. She was born 24 Jul 1769, Mendon, MA, and died -----. They joined the Mormons and died in that colony and were buried in Kirtland. He resided Marlboro, VT, and Kirtland, OH.

vi.	Samuel Franklin Whitney, b. 17 Mar 1804. He died in Kirtland, OH, leaving a son, Samuel F., Jr., who resides at Mentor Plains, Lake County, OH, and the latter's dau., Mrs. A. G. Reynolds, resided at Painesville, OH.
vii.	Susanna K. Whitney, b. 30 Nov 1806.
viii.	Clark Lyman Whitney, b. 6 May 1809.
ix.	Phebe K. Whitney, b. 26 Jun 1812.
x.	Caroline Whitney, b. 10 Mar 1816.
