Lorenzo C.7 Whitney (John6, Joshua5, Eleazer4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1). born Sandisfield, Massachusetts, 5 Apr 1818; married 28 Sep 1841, Clestia A. Fosdick; died Nov. 7, 1890. He was a farmer. He died 25 Jan 1891; resided Sandisfield, Massachusetts.

i. Adaline8 Whitney, born 24 Feb 1846; died 28 Feb 1851. ii. Marietta Lucy Whitney, born 24 Oct 1848; married 30 Nov 1870, Henry Claflin Abbey; resided Waterbury, Connecticut, at Hospital College; he was born 12 May 1844. - Ch.: Robert Milton, born Feb. 21 1877; Hattie Belle, born 24 May 1878; died 13 May 1890.
iii. Ella Adeline Whitney, born 24 May 1853; died 8 Nov 1877. iv. Austin Lorenzo Whitney, born 7 Nov 1858; married Martha L. Sheldon and Martha A. Webb. v. Emeline Isabell Whitney, born 5 May 1850; married 3 Jun 1866, Lewis Gladding; born 25 Nov 1846. He is a carpenter. - Ch.: Wallace L., born 13 Feb 1869; married 20 Sep 1893, Winsted, Connecticut; Clayton H., born 29 Feb 1876.
