Amos L.8 Whitney (Amos Kimball7, Charles6, Aaron5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Amos Kimball7 and Anna (Leonard) Whitney, was born about 5 Nov 1818, Warwick, MA, and died 7 May 1862, Lowell, MA, aged 43 years 6 months 2 days, of consumption.[1]
Marriage intentions were published 15 Mar 1845, Lowell, MA, for him and his first wife Alice Y. Thurlow, "both of Lowell",[2] daughter of Aaron and Eliza (-----) Thurlow. She was born about 3 Jun 1822, Sanbornton, NH, and died 19 Aug 1855, Lowell, MA, aged 33 years 2 months 16 days, of consumption.[3]
He married secondly, 6 Oct 1856, Lowell, MA, Jemima Swansey Lane,[4] daughter of David and Naomi (Gibson) Lane. She was born 19 Jan 1827, Lowell, MA.
Machinist, resided Adams Street, Lowell, MA.
