Noah8 Whitney (David7, Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of David7 and Sarah (Wilson) Whitney, was born 1 May 1791, Clarendon, VT, and died 20 Jan 1876, Phillipston, MA, aged 84 years 8 months 20 days, of typhoid pneumonia.[1]

He married, 2 Dec 1813, Brattleboro, VT, Mercy French,[2] daughter of Asa and Mercy (-----) French. She was born 26 Feb 1794, Dummerston or Brattleboro, VT, and died 1 Oct 1871, Phillipston, MA, aged 77 years 7 months 4 days, of old age.[3]
