James K. Whitney (Elijah, Hiram, [probably] Elijah), [probably] Francis, [perhaps] Joshua³, David², Samuel¹) the son of Elijah and Mary (Anderson) Whitney, was born 27 Jan 1846, Moscow, TN, and died 7 May 1907, Kensett, White County, AR.

He married 16 Nov 1876, White Co., AR, Ella Black. She was born Mar 1858, AR, and died 15 Nov 1922, White Co., AR.
