George Orrett Whitney, parentage unknown, was born circa 1838, perhaps Bermuda[1] and died after 1880.[2]
He married, 10 Jun 1869, Snow Hill, MD, Mary Jane Jones,[3] born circa 1842, MD. She was the daughter of Capt. Thomas B. Jones, of Worcester, MD.[4] She died 22 Sep 1880, Baltimore, MD, on her way to visit her father at Snow Hill, MD.[5]
