Wiley Whitney ([perhaps] Lovet T.), parentage unknown but perhaps son of Lovet T. Whitney, born circa 1819, TN, died after 1860, perhaps MO.
He married, say 1837, Lucinda -----, born circa 1810 or 1824, possibly TN.
Children of Whitney:
i. Isabella Rose Whitney, b. ca. 1838, KY. She was listed as "Isabella Rose" with no surname of Whitney in 1850, and the next child added back in the surname, so it is unclear if Rose was her middle or last name. She was not with the family in 1860. ii. Elizabeth Whitney, b. ca. 1841, KY. iii. James H. Whitney, b. ca. 1841, KY. iv. Lovet Pearce Whitney, b. ca. 1848, KY. He was listed as Lovell Whitney in 1860 and Peter Whitney in 1900. v. Mary Whitney, b. ca. 1850, KY. vi. Lucy Whitney, b. ca. 1852, KY.
