Lilla E. Whitney (Artemas Henry8, George Washington7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), daughter of Artemas Henry8 and Jerusha Sellon (Percival) Whitney, was born 15 Feb 1865, Amherst, MA, and died 21 Feb 1953, Athol, MA.
She married 17 Apr 1915, Athol, MA, Arthur C Jackson, son of Andrew and Abbie L. (Bancroft) Jackson. He was born Oct 1862, Winchester, NH, and died 13 Nov 1934, Athol, MA.
Vital records at Quabbins for the childrens' births show Herbert Tolman as the father of Eva and John T White as the father of Oakley, although Oakley was always known by her family name - Whitney. There is no record of marriage to either. The 1900 Census shows her as having married a Charles Hall in 1895 but no record of that marriage has been found.
She was a cook in a restaurant.
