Levi8 Whitney (Moses7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Moses7 and Sarah (Hamlin) Whitney, was born 1 Sep 1809, Raymond, ME,[1] and died after 1899.

He married, 13 Oct 1832, Waterford, ME, Abigail R. Wilkins, daughter of John and Abigail (Kimball) Wilkins. She was born 1804, ME, and died 25 Dec 1884, Standish, Cumberland, ME.

They resided Standish, ME, and Gorham, NH.

Children of Levi8 and Abigail R. (Wilkins) Whitney:

i. Charles S.9 Whitney, b. ca. 1833, ME.
ii. Moses M. Whitney, b. ca. 1836, ME; d. 15 Feb 1883, Biddeford, ME; m. Vesta Caton.
iii. Lewis G. Whitney, b. ca. 1838, ME; killed 6 May 1864, shot in the head at the Battle of the Wilderness [sic]; m. 20 Aug 1859, York Co., ME, Elizabeth M. Keaton, "both of Biddeford".[2] He enlisted in Co.
