Josiah7 Whitney (Moses Gill6, Josiah5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Moses Gill6 and Ann (Shields) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1815, Whitingham, VT, and died after 1870, East Bennington, VT.
He married, 8 Oct 1837, Greenfield, MA, Sarah Moody Dickinson, daughter of Lucius and Rebecca (Wait) Dickinson. She was born 20 Jun 1820, Greenfield, MA, and died 4 Jun 1902.
He resided East Bennington, VT, and Greenfield, MA.
