Joshua4 Whitney (David3, Joshua2, John1), son of David3 and Elizabeth (Warren) Whitney,[1] was born 11 Oct 1718, Plainfield, CT,[2] and died 10 Feb 1761, Plainfield, CT.[3]

He married 8 Apr 1742, Amy Blodgett,[4] daughter of William and Sarah (Hall) Blodgett.[5] She was born 16 Feb 1724, Plainfield, CT,[6] and died 24 Dec 1819, Canaan, CT, aged 96 years.[7]

She married secondly, after 14 Nov 1767, Isaac Lawrence,[8] son of Daniel and Sarah (-----) Lawrence,[9] as his second wife. He was born 25 Feb 1704/5, Groton, MA,[10] and died 2 Dec 1793, Canaan, CT.[11] He had married firstly Lydia Hewitt.[12]
