Manning7 Whitney (Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Sarah (Durant) Whitney, was born 8 Sep 1795, Stow, MA.[1]

He married, 1818, Dolly Brooks. .

"MANNING WHITNEY came to this town from Stowe, Mass, in 1818, locating on road 22. He married Dolly Brooks, in 1818, and reared a family of six children, namely, Emeline, Daniel, Henry B., Lydia, Jane and Sally H. He died in Alabama in 1841. Henry B. and Daniel still live in the town."[2]
