Lorenzo Chamberlin7 Whitney (John6, Joshua5, Eleazer4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of John6 and Lucy (Chamberlin) Whitney, was born 5 Apr 1818, Sandisfield, MA,[1] and died 25 Jan 1891, Sandisfield, MA.
He married, 28 Sep 1841, Sandisfield, MA, Celestia A. Fosdick.[2] She died 7 Nov 1890.
He was a farmer. He resided Sandisfield, Massachusetts.
Children of Lorenzo Chamberlin7 and Celestia A. (Fosdick) Whitney:
i. Adaline8 Whitney, b. 24 Feb 1846; d. 28 Feb 1851. ii. Marietta Lucy Whitney, b. 24 Oct 1848; m. 30 Nov 1870, Henry Claflin Abbey; resided Waterbury, CT, at Hospital College; he was b. 12 May 1844. - Ch.: Robert Milton, b. 21 Feb 1877; Hattie Belle, b. 24 May 1878; d. 13 May 1890.
iii. Ella Adeline Whitney, born 24 May 1853; died 8 Nov 1877. iv. Austin Lorenzo Whitney, b. 7 Nov 1858; m.(1) Martha L. Sheldon; m.(2) Martha A. Webb. v.
