Oliver7 Whitney (Joshua6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Joshua6 and Vashti (Knight) Whitney, was born 28 Apr 1784, Gardner, MA,[1] and died 9 Dec 1857, Rochester, VT.

Marriage intentions were published 22 Apr 1810, Westminster, MA, for him "of Gardner" and Rebeckah Nichols.[2] He married, 1809, Gardner, MA, Rebecca Nichols. She was born 1781, and died 1853, Rochester, VT. Buried Bingo Cemetery Rochester Vermont.

He was born in Gardner, MA, the son of Joshua and Vashti (Knight) Whitney. Soon after his marriage he moved to Hancock, VT, of which he was an original grantee of the township. He subsequently resided in Rochester, where he died. He was a farmer. He resided Rochester, VT. Buried Bingo Cemetery Rochester VT
