Alpheus⁷ Whitney (Eleazer⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Eleazer⁶ and Martha (Crozer) Whitney, was born 29 Jan 1791, Halifax, VT, and died 19 Oct 1880.

He married, 4 Nov 1819, Halifax, VT, Sally Stone. She was born between 1800 and 1804.

Philip, Caroline, Christopher, Maria, Amos, George, William, Sarah, Olive, Hannah, also two children who died young. Some of their ages are unknown.^[1]
