Thomas Whitney, parentage unknown, was born sometime before 1800, perhaps much earlier, and died sometime after 1819.
He was listed twice in Charleston, SC city directories:[1]
- 1816: Whitney, Thomas, Mariner, 3 Market St.
- 1819: Whitney, Thomas, Store Keeper, 3 Market St.
