John Franklin8 Whitney (George Washington7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of George Washington7 and Prudence (Stone) Whitney, was born 29 Oct 1847, Dana, MA, and died 1934.

He married 9 Jun 1875, Dana, MA, Abba Thompson. She was born Nov 1857, and died 1953.
