Ebenezer6 Whitney (Samuel5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Mary (Aston) Whitney,[1] was born 1762, probably Brunswick, ME,[2] and died 14 Feb 1849, Bowdoin, ME.[3]
He married 9 Jan 1785, Bath, ME, Mehitable Robinson.[4] She was born about 1764, Bath, ME, and died after 1850.
He resided Litchfield and Bowdoin, ME.
Ebenezer, MA Line, Mehitable, W25977, sol was b in 1763 at Brunswick MA (ME) & he lived at Bath MA (ME) when he enl & he lived there for "many yrs" then moved to Litchfield MA (ME) for 18 yrs then moved to Bowdoin ME for 2 yrs then moved to Topsham ME for 7 yrs & in 1829 he moved to Bowdoinham in Lincoln Co ME where he lived when he appl 19 Jul 1832 in Kennebec Co ME, sol m Mehitable Robinson 9 Jan 1785 both were of Bath in Lincoln Co MA (ME), sol d 14 Feb 1849 at Richmond in Lincoln Co ME & his wid appl there 13 Aug 1849 aged 84, sol's bro Thomas G. Whitney 22 Aug 1849 at Hallowell in Kennebec Co ME & stated he was present when his bro Ebenezer Whitney m Mehitable Robinson in Feb 1787 (wid gave 1784) but town the Bath ME town records gave 1785, it was stated sol & wid had raised a family of children but no names were given.[5]
