Daniel⁸ Whitney (Bezeleel⁷, Charles⁶, Aaron⁵, Moses⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Bezeleel⁷ and Lucy (Shays) Whitney, was born about 1797, and died after 1850.

He married, Hannah Hilton, daughter of David and Mary (Hammond) Hilton. She was born about 1792, NY, and died 30 Oct 1858, Satillo, Washington Co., IN.
