Henry O.8 Whitney (Hollis B.7, Isaac 6, Isaac5, Lemuel4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Hollis B.7 and Elsina A. (Towle) Whitney, was born 12 Nov 1845, Canaan, NH, and died after 1910.[1]
He married 8 Jul 1871, Alton, NH, Susan E. Ames, daughter of Thompson and Naomi (Flanders) Ames.[2] She was born 20 Sep 1846, Gilford, NH, and died 15 Aug 1888, Canaan, NH.[3]
He possibly married secondly 1 Dec 1900, Canaan, NH, Isabelle Moulton,[4] but no additional records supporting this union have been found.
Note: There is a death record indicating he died 13 Dec 1900, Canaan, NH,[5] but this is contradicted by the 1910 census record below.
Children of Henry O.8 and Susan E. (Ames) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
