Charles6 Whitney (Aaron5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Aaron5 and Alice (Baker) Whitney, was born 14 May 1742, Petersham or Littleton, MA.

He "of Petersham" married, 31 Oct 1765, Petersham, MA, Elisabeth Kimball "of Fitchburg", daughter of Amos and Dorothy (Hazeltine) Kimball, born 20 Apr 1745, Lunenburg, MA, and died 4 Sep 1784, Royalston, MA, aged 40 years.

He resided Phillipston, VT, but birth of children also indicates that he lived for at least a time in Templeton, Worcester, MA. He lived at Phillipston, VT.
