Josiah⁷ Whitney (Moses Gill⁶, Josiah⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Moses Gill⁶ and Ann (Shields) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1815, Whitingham, VT, and died East Bennington, VT.

He married Sarah Dickinson. He resided East Bennington, VT, and Greenfield, MA.

Children of Josiah⁷ and Sarah (Dickinson) Whitney:

i.	George8 Whitney, b. -----; m. and d. Bennington, VT, leaving one son.
