Abel⁷ Whitney (Jabez⁶, Jacob⁵, Jonas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Jabez⁶ and Elizabeth (-----) Whitney, was born 21 May 1790, Orange, MA,^[1] and died after 1820.

He "of Orange" married, 15 Jul 1810, Athol, MA, Sylvia Twichel.^[2]
