Aaron7 Whitney (Samuel6, Aaron5, Elnathan4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Eunice (Wellman) Whitney, was born 26 Jul 1800, Jamaica, VT, and died 26 Feb 1848, Edinburg, NY.

He married, 21 May 1822, Jamaica, VT, Esther Maynard. She was born 4 Apr 1803, and died 10 May 1891. She apparently remarried, before 1860, one ----- Howe.

He was a shoemaker. He resided Jamaica, VT, and Edinburg, NY.

ii. Martha A. Whitney, b. 6 Jan 1826; m. 12 Jan 1848, Augustus Wilder, d. 22 Dec 1848.
iii. Ora Whitney, b. 27 Feb 1830; d. 2 Jul 1831.
iv. Oscar O. Whitney, b. 15 Aug 1832; m. Sarah R. Steel.
v. Mary C. Whitney, b. 14 Dec 1834; m. 11 Jan 1855, Charles Van Pelt, b. 9 May 1826. He is a farmer; resided Scotia, NY.
Ch.: Esther J., b. 28 Dec 1856; Frank M., b. 30 May 1862; m. 24 Dec 1884; Cora M., b. 26 Jul 1868; d. 1 Nov 1884; Ella May, b. 1 Nov 1872.
