Elijah Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1740, and died sometime after 1760.

He married Hannah -----.

They supposedly resided Columbia Co., NY and moved to Canada after the Revolution.

Children of Elijah and Hannah (-----) Whitney (probably incomplete, order uncertain):

i.	Samuel Whitney, b. 17 Aug 1760, m. Sibbel Phillips.
ii.	Seth Whitney, b. ca. 1762.
iii.	Heman Whitney.
iv.	Elnathan Whitney, unmarried, lived with nephew Elijah & buried Sanford, NY.
