Peter Lambert⁸ Whitney (William⁷, Peter⁶, Aaron⁵, Moses⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of William⁷ and Zilpah (Eager) Whitney; born Northborough, Massachusetts, 23 Nov 1818; married South Boston, 27 Nov 1845, Mary H. Smith; born 12 Feb 1826. He was at one time an engineer in the Charlestown navy yard' resided South Boston, Massachusetts 330 W. 3rd. St.

i.	Mary Adams9 Whitney, born 26 Apr 1847; married 5 Dec 1868, Albert Hiram White. Ch.: Leah Mabel, born 1 Feb 1869; Albert Foster, born 6 Apr 1871; resided 135 K St., South Boston.
ii.	Abby Foster Whitney, born 19 Jan 1850; died 24 Aug 1850.
