Louis7 Whitney (Lemuel6, Lemuel5, Lemuel4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Lemuel6 and Dorcas (Gates) Whitney, was born 8 Jun 1812, Grafton, VT, and died after 23 Oct 1857.

He "Lewis" married, 24 Sep 1844, Boston, MA, Louisa W. Parmenter,[1] daughter of Jonas and Marcy (Rogers) Parmenter. She was born about 1812, Holden, MA, and died 23 Oct 1857, Boston, MA, aged 36 years, of dysentery.[2]

i. Ann L. Whitney, b. ca. 1846, MA.
ii. Mary Adeline Whitney, b. ca. 24 Aug 1846, Boston, MA; d. 30 Jan 1848, Lawrence, MA, aged 1 year 5 months, 6 days, of convulsions.[3]
iii. Charles A. Whitney, b. ca. 1848, MA.
