He married, 3 Apr 1839, Plymouth, VT, Lucinda Hudson.[1]
Children of Ira7 and Lucinda (Hudson) Whitney (possibly incomplete):
i. Julia8 Whitney, b. ca. 1830, VT; m. Henry E. Strong; resided Benson, VT, in 1850, and Cavendish, VT. ii. Ellen Lucinda Whitney, b. 2 Aug 1840, Plymouth, VT.[2]
