Jonah6 Whitney (Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Thomas5 and Ann (Gould) Whitney, was born 25 Aug 1771, Shrewsbury, MA,[1] was baptized 8 Sep 1771, Westborough, MA,[2] and died 3 Oct 1810, Westborough, MA, "Killed by moving a building."[3]

He "of Westborough" married, 21 May 1797, Westborough, MA, Anna Rider,[4] daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Gibson) Rider. She was born 5 or 15 Mar 1778, Hopkinton, MA, and died 19 Jul 1846, Westborough, MA. She "Mrs." married secondly, 30 Mar 1814, Westborough, MA, Asaph Warren.[5]

He was killed while moving a building. His widow requested the Probate Court to grant her an assignment of her dower, according to the law 13 Apr 1813. He resided Shrewsbury and Westborough, MA.
