N. Y., Feb. 1813, a few days before her mother's death; died about the same time as her mother did, and was buried in the Whitney Cemetery.

2336 VI. Sylvester St. John Whitney, b. at Paris, now Kirkland, N. Y., 2 Dec. 1814; a Carpenter and joiner, and since 1855, a farmer; resided, in 1874, on the homestead of his father and grandfather, in Kirkland, unmarried. He was appointed by Silas Wright, Governor of New York, Lieut. Col. of 20th Reg., N. Y. Infantry, with rank from 21 June 1845.
2337 VII. David Husted Whitney, b. at Paris, now Kirkland, N. Y., 10 Oct. 1816; a farmer; married, 20 Oct. 1842, in Marshall, N. Y., by Rev. Samuel Whittlesey Raymond, Congregational, to Mary Angeline Walker, who was born in Marshall, 23 Sept. 1822, dau. of William and Amy (Jillson) Walker. She died in Marshall, 15 June 1854, and was buried in the Whitney Cemetery in Kirkland. He was married (2d), 25 July 1855, in Marshall, by Rev. Mr. Atwell, Episcopal, of Paris Hill, N. Y., to Lydia Eliza Lapham, who was born in Marshall, 15 June 1833, adopted dau. of Joseph and Mary (Mix) Lapham, of Marshall. He settled, in 1851, on the north farm in Marshall, adjoining that of his brother Sylvester, in Kirkland, and was living there in 1874. 7023
2338 VIII. ----- Whitney, an unnamed dau., born at Paris, now Kirkland, N. Y., date not recorded; died when only a few weeks old, and was buried in the Whitney Cemetery at Kirkland.

2339 I. Sabra Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 13 Aug. 1807; married, 6 May 1835, at her father's house in Henderson, by Rev. Mr. Barnes, Methodist, as his second wife, to Lyman Tuttle, a farmer, of Camden, N. Y., who was born near Clinton, N. Y., 14 Aug. 1796, son of Andrew and Philoma (Allen) Tuttle. He was, for more than thirty years, a deacon of the Presbyterian Church in Camden; and died there, 25 Oct. 1865, after a residence in that place of 68 years. She died in Henderson, 18 Oct. 1872. They were buried in Camden. 7024
2340 II. Emeline Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 26 Ap. 1809; died there, 22 Feb. 1815, and was buried in the Carpenter Cemetery, in that place.
2341 III. William Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 21 March 1811; died there, 27 Aug. 1812, and was buried in the Carpenter Cemetery.
