Jump to navigationJump to searchBradley Francis7 Whitney (Silas6, Aaron5, Samuel4, Richard3, John2, Henry1), son of Silas6 and Nancy (Russell) Whitney, was born about 1796, Red Mills, Southeast, NY, and died about 1837 or 1838, Chicago, IL.
He married Ann Birch, daughter of Silas Birch. She was born in Patterson, NY.
Phoenix says the following:
- . . . a tanner and currier, and, in the latter part of his life, a farmer; . . . . He was a soldier in the war of 1812. He settled in Carmel, N. Y.; moved thence to Hennepin, Ill.; and died at Chicago, on his way east, to visit his relatives, about 1837 or 1838. His widow married again; and is supposed, by her first husband's brothers, to be dead.
