Family:Whitney, George W. (c1833-1895)

George W.⁷ Whitney (Alpheus⁷, Eleazer⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Alpheus⁷ and Sally (Stone) Whitney, was born about 1833, and died 16 Feb 1895, Holliston, MA, aged 58 years, of la grippe, and congestion of kidneys and brain.^[1] He was buried in Westborough, MA.

He married, before 1855, Sophia A. Farnum. She was born about 1835, VT, and died after 1880.

i.	Willard N.8 Whitney, b. ca. 16 Apr 1855, Halifax, VT; "Millard M." d. 11 Feb 1872, Westborough, MA, aged 16 years 9 months 25 days, of peritonitis.[2]
ii.	Melville Murrey Whitney, b. 3 Aug 1858, Halifax, VT;[3] m. Annie I. Perkins.
