Israel6 Whitney (Joshua5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Joshua5 and Mary (Clarke) Whitney, was born 6 Apr 1781, Worcester, MA,[1] and died 1 Feb 1856, Worcester, MA, aged 74 years 10 months, of fever.[2]
He married 23 Feb 1799, Worcester, MA, Lucy Mahan,[3] daughter of John and Sarah (-----) Mahan. She was born 18 Oct 1780, Worcester, MA, and died 16 Dec 1858, Rutland, MA, aged 78 years 2 months 4 days, of epithelial cancer,[4] or 14 Oct 1858, Rutland, MA (recorded at Worcester, MA), aged 78 years 2 months, of cancer.[5]
He was born in Worcester, MA; was a farmer. His will is dated 28 Mar 1854, and proved 4 Mar 1856; resided Worcester, MA.

Paul Weixler; resided Worcester, MA. d. Eliza W. White, b. 7 Mar 1833; d. 4 Mar 1872. e. William B. White, b. 18 Aug 1835, was colonel in the war; resided Quincy, MA. f. Sarah J. White, b. 20 Oct 1837; d. 30 Aug 1854. g. George C. White, b. 4 Apr 1843.
