John7 Whitney (Silas6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Silas6 and Patience (Goodenow) Whitney, was born 22 Nov 1782, Stow, MA,[1] and died 23 Jun 1826, Cambridge, MA, aged 43 years.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 31 May 1804 "in Brookline", Boston, MA, for him and Susannah Viles "of Waltham."[3] He "of Boston" married, 1 Jul 1804, Waltham, MA, Susannah Viles,[4] daughter of Jonas and Susanna (Hastings) Viles. She was born 9 Dec 1784, Waltham, MA, and died 30 Nov 1844, Boston, MA, and was buried Jan 1845, Cambridge, MA, aged 63 years.[5]
He was steward at Harvard college for 20 years. He resided Cambridge, MA.
