Jonas7 Whitney (Jonas6, Jonas5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Jonas6 and Elizabeth (Raymond) Whitney, was born 20 Jul 1807, Westminster, MA,[1] and died 15 Dec 1884, Westminster, MA, aged 77 years 4 months 26 days, of valvular disease of heart.[2]
He married, 11 Dec 1832, Westminster, MA, Lucinda Damon,[3] daughter of Timothy, Jr., and Phebe (Miller) Damon. She was born 18 Dec 1809, Westminster, MA, and died 10 Apr 1868, Westminster, MA, aged 58 years 3 months 23 days, of consumption.[4]
Jonas Whitney, son of Jonas and Betsey, married Lucinda, dau. of Timothy and Phebe (Miller) Damon, and settled on Bacon st., Westminster, where he resided through life. He was also a carpenter by trade and an exemplary citizen. He resided Westminster, MA.
Heywood says the following:[5]
- "Whitney, Jonas7, another s. of Jonas6 and Betsey, m. Lucinda (18), dau. of Timothy and Phebe (Miller) Damon, and settled on Bacon St., where he res. through life. He was also a carpenter by trade and an exemplary citizen. He d. Dec. 15, 1884, a. 77. His w. d. April 10, 1868, a. 58."
