Levi6 Whitney (Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonas5 and Zebudah (Davis) Whitney,[1] was born 12 June 1751, Harvard, MA,[2] and died in 1786.
He "of Concord" married firstly, 12 Sep 1772, Harvard, MA, Sarah Lawrence.[3] The marriage is also recorded 17 Sep 1772, Rindge,[4] NH. She died 19 Oct 1783.
He married secondly, 25 Dec 1783 or 10 Mar 1783, Rindge, NH, Hepsibeth Fay,[5] of Westboro, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Cutter) Fay. She was born 1 Oct 1759, Westborough, MA, and died 10 May 1827, Leominster, MA. Marriage intentions were published 24 Oct 1790, Leominster, MA, for her "Wid." "of Rindge" and Samuel Hale "Jr.",[6] as his second wife. She married secondly, 28 Nov 1790, Rindge, NH, Samuel Hale.[7] His first wife was Hannah (Wetherbee) Stearns, daughter of Paul and Hannah (Peirce) Wetherbee.
At the time of his marriage he resided in Concord. He resided Concord and Westminster, MA, Rindge and Marlborough, NH.
