Lewis Watson Whitney (Benjamin, Samuel Kellogg, Benjamin), son of Benjamin and Abigail (Fancher) Whitney, was born 22 Aug 1814, CT, Wilton, CT, and died after 1900, Greenwich, CT. He was buried in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.^[1] The gravestone says he died in 1899, but he is still alive for the 1900 census.

He married firstly, before 1841, Angeline -----. She was born about 1813, CT, and died 17 May 1879, Greenwich, CT, aged 66 years. She was buried in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.^[2]

He married secondly, 18 Jan 1883, New York, NY, Anna Humphreys, daughter of Robert and Mary A. (C...is) Humphreys. She was born about 1837, and died 14 Jun 1894, aged 57 years, Greenwich, CT. She was buried in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.^[3]
