Marriage intentions were published 10 Nov 1752, Lunenburg, MA, for her and John White "both of Lunenburg.[3] She married, 22 Feb 1753, Lunenburg, MA, John White, both "of Lunenburg",[4] "of Lancaster", son of Josiah and Abigail (Whitcomb) White. He was born 10 May 1729, Lancaster, MA, and died 20 Jan 1815, Canaan, ME.
Phoenix says the following:[5]
- MARY [WHITNEY], b. Lancaster; m. Feb. 22, 1753, John WHITE, of Lancaster, the son of Josiah and Abigail (WHITCOMB) WHITE, b. Lancaster, May 10, 1729; d. Canaan, Me. in 1820; res. Leominster and Fitchburg, Mass. Ch.: Betsey, Lydia, m. Edward HARTWELL and moved to Me. in 1780, and John.
