Samuel⁶ Whitney (Aaron⁵, Elnathan⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Aaron⁵ and Margaret (Cornet) Whitney, was born 23 May 1764, Uxbridge, MA, and died 1825, Jamaica, VT.

He "of Jamaica" married firstly, 10 Jan 1793, Putney, VT, Eunice Wellman,^[1] parentage unknown.

He married secondly, about 1805, Martha Parmenter, daughter of Reuben and Martha (Mossman) Parmenter. She was born 25 July 1772, Princeton, MA.

He resided Jamaica, VT.
