Scollay7 Whitney (Josiah6, Josiah5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Josiah6 and Anna (Scollay) Whitney, was born 6 Oct 1798, Nelson, NH, and died 9 Aug 1867, Lynn, MA, aged 69 years 10 months 2 days, of consumption, Morrocco dresser.[1]
He married, 14 Jun 1827, Lynn, MA, Mary D. Doak,[2] daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (-----) Doak. She was born about Sep 1794, Marblehead, MA, and died 20 Aug 1868, Lynn, MA, aged 73 years 11 months, of consumption.[3]
He resided Lynn, MA.

Mary Emerietta Whitney, b. 3 May 1833, Lynn, MA;[7] d. 6 Aug 1908, Lynn, MA, aged 75 years 2 months 3 days, of cerebral hemorrhage; unmarried.[8] She was apparently the Mary E. Whitney who had an apparently illegitimate daughter, unnamed, b. 2 Jul 1854, Lynn, MA,[9] and d. 15 Aug 1854, Lynn, MA, aged 1 month 14 days of canker.[10]
