Simon M. Whitney ([perhaps] Lovet T.), son of Sarah Whitney, and perhaps son of Lovet T. Whitney, was born circa 1799, SC, and died after 1850.

He married, 17 Jun 1825, Butler Co., KY, Patsey Arndell. She died before 1850.
