Simon Wetherbee8 Whitney (Simon7, Judah6, Simon5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Simon7 and Sally (Green) Whitney, was born about 26 Nov 1825, Springfield, VT, and died 20 Mar 1907, Boston, MA, aged 81 years 3 months 24 days, of senility.[1] He was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Keene, NH.[2]
He married firstly, 14 Dec 1859, Alstead, NH, Lizzie M. Pickering,[3] daughter of James and Hannah Mariah (Dart) Pickering. She was born 27 May 1838, Gilsum, NH, and died 8 Apr 1877, Worcester, MA, aged 39 years, of disease of uterus.[4] She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Keene, NH.[5]
He married secondly, about 1878 [according to 1900 census, but both living in separate families under their own names in 1880], Nellie Ann Greenwood, daughter of Edwin S. and Mary (Laws) Greenwood. She was born Aug 1862, Keene, NH, and died 10 Apr 1932, Boston, MA. She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Keene, NH.[6]
